For sale or trade is a 1997 Warwick Streamer Pro M fretless. The neck is made of wenge with ebony fingerboard and has the soft c profile that most agree is far more comfortable than the larger necks found on current Warwicks. The pickup is a MEC Twin Jazz style pickup, essentially two j pickups pushed together and each with its own preamp. There are three stacked knobs, the first being volume/blend and the other two being bass/treble for each pickup.
The tone of the bass is warm, growly, and punchy. Very easy to get a Jaco-esque bridge pickup tone. By soloing the "neck" pickup, a warm and musical "mwah" is easy to dial in.
The bass is in great condition for its age although there are a few small dings in the lower bout (see picture).
The bass includes a strap with strap locks, hardshell case, instruction booklet, and adjustment tools. I will string it with your choice of strings.
Asking $750 or best offer. Price includes shipping. Open to all kinds of trades, so let me know what you have in mind.
