FS/FT: 1999 Fender US Jazz -- Ash Body, Natural Finish, Maple Board

Gorgeous, near mint, in really amazing condition. I love her but I need cash for a new rig. Will sell for $900 OBO shipped, or may trade for a really lightweight rig. Think Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 12T, maybe one of the new GK ultralight setups. Would also trade for a Genz Benz Streamliner.

Ash body, Maple fretboard. Replacement black pickguard, will include the original white pg. Pro Set up maybe 6 months back at Bass Emporium here in Austin. Truss rod is fine. No case, will ship in a very basic gig bag.

Full disclosure:

1. tiny white scuff on top rim of headstock, a little bigger than a rice grain
2. quarter sized scratch on the back by the small horn
3. very minimal swirlies on the back
4. the black pickguard does not have the notch routed by the heel for truss rod access. I bought it after I got the bass. The original white pickguard, which I'm including, does have the notch.
5. the action is a little higher than I like, but it plays fine for me. I figure there's no sense in me getting a pro setup to my favorite specs when they likely won't match the buyer's. I had a pro setup 6 months ago or so, and all was good, so a precise setup to your specs should be easy.
6. There's a little tarnish on few of the pickguard screws

A few more points of interest: NEVER been around smoke while I owned it. NEVER been dropped. NEVER had beer or any other liquid within 15 feet of it. NEVER been to a gig, or to a bar, only to my buddy's place 3 or 4 times to jam. I'm a hobbyist, this bass gets played in my living room for 30 to 40 minutes a night.

Hit me up with any questions guys, I'm quick to respond and really easy to deal with(IMO )

hi Blues, it is not, I'll follow up with actual pics. I'm at work right now.

Pic above is just for reference and to give the basic idea. Mine is indistinguishable from it.

route the treble pickup closer to the bridge and you've got one hot looking 70's jazz

I have $600.00 now, and need to sell other basses from my collection. I have a weakness for natural basses

Any interest in Markbass and/or Epifani amps/cabs for your lightweight needs?
