For sale is my 2000 Fender American Jazz Deluxe Trans Red 4 string. This is hard to do, but she's just never got that much playing time since I mainly play my Spectors. The body is trans red, noiseless pickups, maple neck with rosewood fretboard and abalone fret markers.
She is in top condition, with only three light scratches in the finish on the back, two of which (very light and don't show up in photographs) were there when I bought it new from Guitar Center. The third one is in the bottom of the "U" of the lower horn on the back of the bass, to the bottom left of the Fender plate. Very light swirls on the back as you'd expect, but hard to see unless you sky-light them. This bass has never been gigged.
There are no dings, dents, scratches, blemishes of any sort on the neck or headstock. They're as close to mint as you can get in a used bass. Recently had a setup done with fresh 45 gauge strings (can't remember what kind, stainless steel I think).
Comes with gig bag. $850 Paypal or USPO money order, shipped to CONUS only. No trades unless it's a nice 5er with blocks and binding, and a huge deal going my way that I can't pass up. TRADES: I'll trade for a 5 string version of this bass, or a 5 string Am. Dlx. P bass. Here's a link to the pics: http://s861.photobucket.com/albums/a...%20Deluxe%204/

I hope you find another bass here on TB that you like.

| | | | Strange way of trading... Hmm, this is a very strange way of trading! Why are you offering to sell something what you do not want to sell? Is this within the rules of this forum? However you have my email address. Rethink this and call me later. Regards, Filip. |

I have several billion million dollars in an account that I could send you as payment but you would have to first send me your social security number, bank account number and $419 cash to cover the taxes and fees.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Czech Republic, Brno | | hi morrisonhendrix, I agree with you, that dolphi.filip was not very convincing from the start, but the way you treated him was not right... my friend DalajVladan showed me this thread on our Czech bass forum ( http://translate.google.cz/translate...1467%26p%3D222) as I know his whole story (I just bought his old bass and he needs replacement) and I (as just an observer here) felt like I have to write something, because this whole suspicion is wrong... you definitely have the right to sell the bass to whoever you want but what do you risk with paypal? I mean - I donīt want to interfere to your business - but you should realize, that there are honest and serious bassplayers even outside USA... do what you want, but donīt throw dirt on everybody not from USA... I can see that you are playing Czech Spector - and considering itīs first on your instrument list, you probably like it... so get this message - Czech Republic is not a third-world country with nigerian-like business proposals... peace man!

There's no mistreatment here, except on his part (hijacking my thread) and his buddies (or maybe it's him registering as different user names). Notice that he and the other Czech guy in this thread have NO FEEDBACK. I got another PM from a third Czech guy trying to buy it from me, telling me it wasn't a Nigerian scam, and trying to do damage control. In fairness, this third Czech guy has positive feedback, but I'm not going to ship outside CONUS, like I said in my original post!
Sorry, no dice.
I know there are serious bass players outside the U.S. I never said anything about anyone outside the U.S. or that the Czech Republic is a Nigerian scam. Someone else posted the Nigerian scam comment. Yes, my favorite bass is my Czech made 5 string Spector, great observation.
Now, write this down, I'm not selling the bass to him. It's my bass, and my perogative.
If you insist on hijacking my thread, I'll have to contact the moderators for assistance. Quote:
