SOLD< SOLD<SOLD!!!Requests for out right sale have forced me to list a price along with trade possibilities. PRICE DROP $1149 shipped conus
I have a bad feeling about letting this one go but here goes anyway.(probably another "one that got away")
First off I have to say this bass has a Killer B string. I've never heard a Fender 34" scale 5er sound more clear and tight.
THis bass is in excellent condition. Even the gold hardware is holding it's shine. A beautiful piece of Rosewood that's so dark it looks like striped ebony. Body is also in excellent condition, just some light swirling in the slap area. The only bump on it is on the back of the neck by the 3rd fret. It doesn't look like a wear spot but there's a tac size spot where the clear coat is gone. That's it!! The rest of the bass is in really excellent shape.
The problem is that I have an American made JJ Lakland that's getting most of the playing time. Although not as pretty, it is lighter. The Lakie is closer to 8.25 lbs and the Fender is about 10.25 lbs. Some wood knobs would knock that down under 10 by replacing the gold ones.
I just discovered a bass I've been wanting is up for sale so I've priced this one to move quick.
Original Deluxe Hardshell Case is included in price. It's in good shape but is missing one latch #3.

Alder, Maple, Blocks, Binding, Active, Earth shaking tone monster that it is. Looks like I might be keeping it. |
