I’m throwing my 2001 MIM Fender P-bass up for trade or sale. I’ve been trying to give the P-Bass thing a try, but it’s just not for me. I’m a jazz bass guy. So without further delay here is the info on the P-bass.

-Padded gig bag (has some wear and tear but works just fine)
-Currently set up with 2 month old set of D’addario "Chromes" Flats
-I can throw in an older set of rounds as well
-Weighs 9.0lbs according to the digital bathroom scale
-If interested I will also include a “tug bar” or “thumb rest” with it. If you want it installed I can take care of that as well.
Overall the bass in is good condition with some very light scratches and one small ding about 1/16" dia on the front (see picture). Probably the worse thing on it is a few dings and gouges on the back of the neck. They don’t bother me whatsoever but I know some people like a smooth neck. Condition wise I would rate it as an 8 out of 10. If you have any questions or would like some additional pictures feel free to send me a message.

I would be interested in trading for a Jazz style 5-string, active or passive, or a G&L L2500 Tribute. They can be MIA, MIM, MIJ, MII, etc… it doesn’t really matter to me. I may consider some 4 strings but it’ll have to have the right kind of vibe going for it that catches my attention. Just shoot me an offer with what you have an we can see what kind of a deal we can work out.

I can throw in some extra cash as well if needed to make a deal work.
