I started a new thread because it is now for sale as well and I was unsure how to edit a title.
This is a first year Skyline Glaub in rare LPB. Rare enough that I searched for a few years to find one without the jazz pickup option. I myself have only seen one other one for sale and it was years ago. I have no idea how many were made but my guess is not alot. This one was 19th off the line. It is all original....Fralin pickups...fairly lightweight (my guess is around 8.5 lbs perhaps a previous owner knows an accurate number). 1.75" at the nut. Beautiful rosewood grain.
The early year Skylines are magical and I honestly believe Lakland put everything they had into the eary ones to make them successful. I have owned a fair share of Skyline Glaubs and this one is hands down the best neck I have played on one.
