Traded
I just got this in a trade a couple of weeks ago, and while I love it (and Stingrays in general), it's just not the sound I'm looking for. I've always been a musicman fan, and always will be, but I think these are better suited as a secondary bass to me.
What I've got is a 2002 Musicman Stingray. This is the real deal made in the USA, not a SUB or a Sterling by Musicman. Black body, rosewood board, natural headstock, and tort pickguard. I absolutely love the look of this, and I'm not a fan of red/tort usually! The bass is in good condition, but was definitely a player. There are surface scratches/swirling on the body, and some knicks on the headstock, and the pole pieces and bridge are a little dirty. The most noticeable damage is a scuff on the belly contour and scratch on the back of the upper horn (both visible by each other in the below pics). Everything works 100% (though for full disclosure, the treble control is a little scratchy, but still works fine), neck is straight and truss rod turns freely (those who have used these know they are the easiest basses to adjust!). Simply a fantastic bass, unfortunately just not what I need right now. Does include new dunlop strap locks and original hardshell case (worn and used, but still functional)
Edit: Now for sale!
$950 obo shipped, CONUS only Paypal only
Trades I'll consider are for basses + cash or nice combo amps + cash. Either way, I need to get some money out of the deal (unless it's a 4 string Warwick Streamer or Thumb, in which case I'd do an even trade...but cash is king right now in regards to other offers)
