FS/FT: 2005 EB/MM Buttercreme StingRay, Ltd Ed, 2 EQ. SOLD

Sign in to disble this ad
Yep, I bought this here a few weeks back. She's all she was advertised to be, but I guess my preferences have crept to the 3EQ version.

EB/MM did a bunch of Rays in buttercreme in 2005, and made only 4 in the 2EQ flavor. This bass plays great and is in near mint condition except one tiny ding that didn't even chip the paint out of it...

SOLD.

I would prefer to sell this outright as I have another project that needs a cash infusion. However, I don't always do what I *should*, and will encourage you to stoke my GAS attacks with trade offers for US Fenders, US Laklands, Gibsons (RD Standard?? EB-2D?? T-Bird?), maybe a Guild? Would generally prefer to trade "up" rather than down, but if you're in the right ballpark (bass- and price-wise) I might be interested.

Please, no amps or cabs, have enough of those to kill a man. And I'm a "old school" guy, so keep that in mind (read: I'm not going to be too interested in Warwicks, Ibanez, pointy basses, coffee table basses, stuff with 19 strings, etc.)

Bump for a beautiful bass!
Whoa! I was watching this when it was selling before.
Wanted it then...Want it still now
BUT, I bought the other one from this seller, the 2008 Stingray Limited LE Sequia Gold 4 HS. ( which was selling the same time this buttercream ray was )
Which has become my favorite Ray in the collection.
Wish I still had the extra $$ to grab this while it is out there and available, regardless if it is a 2EQ.
I think I am partial to the 3EQ also, fits my playing a bit better.
Will keep an eye on this and continue to do some head scratching

If you prefer the 3EQ version, would you be interested in trading for a Butter Cream 3EQ?

Sorry for the delay, guys. Had family stuff to do, then deal with the dreaded Tax Man.

I've come to the conclusion that since I have 3 Rays besides this one, I need to sell this or trade it for something other than a Ray.

So, trade possibilities:
US Fenders
US Laklands
Gibsons
Guilds
Can trade up or down.

Man I love the way this SR looks. I wish that I had the US Fender or the Lakland to trade.

Too bad you aren't looking for a '95 Ray in trans teal with an insane birdseye neck in 3-band and the string-mute bridge.
