FS/FT 2006 EBMM SR4. Super light weight!

I'm not playing out with bass right now and am currently bandless aside from a Halloween project. I've got a ton of basses that I really can't justify having.

This Ray plays especially sweet and sounds fantastic. This is a three band ray. Personally I miss my old 2 band ray which is a bit more mellow. I could change the preamp, but I can't really justify this when I have so much gear and not so much pocket change.

The pickup is super hot! I own two tube Ampegs and this overdrives the input of both and gets a really raunchy grindy tone. Unfortunately thats not what I'm going for. I did just get an LMII the other day so when I get a change to fiddle with it a bit more this might come off the market.

The real selling point, as if sounding and playing great weren't enough, is that its really light weight. Really. Its lighter than most Fenders and is the lightest EB I've ever touched. I'd say mid 8s to low 9s in terms of pounds. I don't have a scale but I've a bad shoulder that complains when something is too heavy. Its just as good!

Pictures are from the last seller. Since I got the bass I gave her a pair of headstock dings and some pinhead sized dings from when it fell over on stage. I could take some crappy iphone photos of the head stock dings if you want but the pin head sized dings won't show up. They're that small and I probably wouldn't have noticed unless I'd just dropped the thing ran over it with a fine tooth comb!

FS @ $950 + shipping costs in its OHSC. Local is preferred.

Normally I'd have a bunch of boxes to ship this in from when I get stuff in the mail but all my boxes got soaked and fell apart last rain storm when I had an inch of water in my basement. I'd prefer to take it to a professional shipper to get a box and have them do it since I don't have a car right now to drive around looking.

Alternatively, I can wrap the case in cardboard and tape and ship it out. I've received a couple of basses this way and never had a problem. The case looks really sturdy besides.

Trades?
Looking for light weight cabinets
2008 American Standard Precisions
Lakland Decade
Jazzmasters
telecasters

I can't add cash to any trades. I do have a Ben Lindsey Jazz (link soon to follow) that I could add to the mix to get a USA decade or perhaps a Fender CS P-bass.
