I just picked this bass up in a trade.

I LOVE everything about it. Only one problem, my bad back is finding it a bit too heavy. I'm bummed b/c I was ready to slap a white pearloid pg and white pup covers on this and call her PERFECT!

But apparently 10.0 lbs is my cutoff, and this one weighs just a bit over.

It plays, sounds, and looks so great that I keep telling myself to just suck it up! And I might, but I wanted to see what else may be out there.

Will take $1149 shipped (!!!) until a bass I'm looking at sells.

whoa! did you you swap the HB for it?

killer bass here folks! only 2 reasons why I let it go:
1) needed cash.
2) I'm not super comfy on a 35" scale. I tend to stay in the 34" pool.

Bass sounds awesome and the B string sounds like thunder in a very good way. =) Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for your comments. I agree it's a killer bass!! But I'm probably better off with a lighter bass.

Would consider trading up or down for the right instrument.

Maybe a comparable five string jazz bass, a killer precision (four or five), another lakland, modulus quantum, or ???
