I just bought this bass here on TB & it plays & sounds perfect!
Hard to tell from the pics, but you can see the grain through the paint. It's sort of translucent.
It's strung with LaBella flats, has a Nordstrand NP4 pickup, upgraded wiring, vintage bridge, tug bar, pickup & bridge covers, "F" neck plate and a tort pickguard. In other words the perfect P Bass

It also comes with a Fender deluxe gig bag.
I guess I am just really used to my jazz neck so I'm going to have to sell this beauty and most likely will build a P with a jazz neck.

Does this have the Greasebucket tone circuit still? Weight?

No it has a regular tone control, but I have all of the parts for a greasebucket circuit if you prefer that. Weight is about 8.5 bathroom scale method.
