Regrettably, it's time to let this one go. It rarely gets played as my current demands require both or more vintage look and sound. My current needs (gas) also lies in amps right now. This bass is my favorite bass I've ever played and I hate how it just sits in it's case under the bed.
Full Disclosure:
Nicks and paint rubs on headstock.
Body contour has been rubbed with steel wool or fine sandpaper to remove some of the clear coat. I've tried to capture this in pictures.
Neck pocket has a chip to the wood.
Had been drilled for poorly positioned thumb rest. That's why i took it off.
Case has one of the strap things loose on one end.
Intonation screws are very short. (easily fixed and not an issue on higher tension strings.)
Back of body and pick guard have swirling.
Strung with LaBella Nylon Tapewounds. I have a set of D'Addario Nickels I'd throw on if you prefer.

I know this is a bit higher than other SB-2's have sold on here, but this is a very rare color.
Trade interest:
Really, my trade interest only lies in amps. I'd love a markbass 121 cab. Maybe a markbass LMIII and cab.
I'd consider fender 4 string passives only.
It won't hurt to make an offer.
