FS/FT 2008 Fender American Deluxe Precision

******THIS BASS IS SOLD*********

Got the gas to try fivers but a little short on scratch, so I'm selling one of my 4-string closet faves, a minty 2008 Fender American Deluxe Precision bass w/ OHSC, EMG pup, 9 lbs, no scratches or descernible fret wear, for $1100, shipped. Pick it up and pay cash or pay by cashier's check.

I will consider trades for specific 5-string basses ONLY (except as noted) and of similar condition as my bass; willing to add a little cash if your bass is of higher value.

I am not in hurry to sell this and will close the thread if I am able to raise the funds to purchase a fiver. CONUS transactions only, please. Thanks. Possible trades:

Fender American Deluxe Jazz V/Precision V
Fender Roscoe Beck V
Stingray 5 or Bongo 5 -- HH or HS
Kubicki Ex Factor 4 or 5

More Pics of Bass - Photobucket

NOTE: Sorry for the photo quality; I expected more from my new Sony Bloggie but it just won't take clear close ups.

I have a 2008 Fender American Jazz V black/maple and was looking to trade to a American Jazz 4 , but then this caught my eye. Sweet bass!

Will it go into passive mode?

This bass is stock. Are you referring to the bridge position pup? This one has an EMG, the latest reiteration has a J pickup.

I have one and I play mine every-night, it's my go to 4 string "Bump"

I sometimes tune down the E to play songs I would normally play on my 5 string, because I really love how it plays.
