Alright folks. I hate that I am posting this and reserve the right to change my mind (which might happen by the time I finish this post).
Up for grabs is my G&L USA SB-2 in belair green. It is not in perfect condition, but it's my favorite bass I have ever played.
The body has had some sanding done by the previous owner right about where your right arm would hit the body. My guess is he decided to try and make it wear faster. The sanding does not go through the paint to the body. It seems as if its a clear coat sand job. The headstock has a couple marks on it where I hit the wall of my studio. The marks are paint from my wall. I removed a poorly positioned thumbrest so there are holes in the pickguard on the E side of the P pickups. Two of the intonation screws are quite short, but the intonation is dead on with the current setup. The OHSC has one of the straps that holds it open at 90 degrees broken. The case also seems to be slightly mis-aligned, but it functions perfectly.
My needs have changed so much over the past 6 months. I am in an acoustic type band now and the G&L has sat, untouched, since May.
Cash is king, but trades include semi-hollows and fender style fretless basses.
