I just picked this bass up in a trade a week ago from the user pickles who himself just picked up in a trade from the original owner tommixx 2 weeks prior to that. I'm really feeling like I'm going to regret it..it's the nicest bass I've ever owned, I'm just not sure that the EBMM sound is going to be right for me. It is as mint as mint gets. Made in March of 2010 so barely a year old. Looks straight from the factory. I asked tommixx about the bass and here is his response:

Before I went I asked them to send me an inventory list of all the SR4s and SR5s they had as I wanted one of each. I found this bass on the inventory list but when I called and asked about it they said they did not have it so I worte it off as being unavailable. When I got there I had brought the lsit they sent with me and made notes on which basses I wanted to check out. I asked about this one first and when Grasshopper saw the inventory number he said there was something not right about it and it was missing a digit. SO he went and did a visual search for the bass and came back with a case and said you ain't going to beleive this but we have had this bass here for 6 almost 6 months and did not even know it! They have a LOT fo basses so it went unnoticed all that time. I took her out of the case and played for about 15 seconds and said to set her aside and I would most likely take her. I played about 2 dozen other SR4s but THAT was the one that I chose over them all. I also played about 18 SR5s and chose the 1 I have now over them all. I played that 4 for about 4 months as my main player along with my 25th 4 HH (that Pickles also has) and began using the 25th and my SR5 when our set list changed and I needed a great 5 and a very verstaile 4. The SR4 sat in her case and I only played her at home for awhile and when Pickles put his Spector NS5P up for sale I traded him the Sr4 you have and the 25th for the Spector and some cash. I LOVE the SR4 you have coming from him but I HAVE to have 5s now and I hate for them to sit unplayed. When she left me she was in pretty much a 10 out of 10 condition so you are essentially getting a BRAND new bass! Paul PSencer Denman tone for days...Need a little Louis Johnson? Its in there! If you are looking for THE definitive 2 band SR4 you found it. I have owned many over the years and that one is second only to a Bass Player Live Custom SR 4 that I had that was just a bit too heavy for me. I hope you will enjoy her for many years to come! She is defintely a very special bass and was meant to be gigged and played hard! I hope you will love her as much as I still do. I named her Baby Hope after my fiance just in case you are interested...God Bless to you and yours and Rock on!

If you have any particular questions I would be happy to answer them for you!

Peace,

T

A pretty awesome story. He paid $1600 for the bass just to give you an idea of the value.

As far as trades..No 5strings or Jazz..I love P basses. Fender (P, Tele style), Lakland (Glaub, Decade), Gibson (Ripper, EB)..lemme know what you've got. I'll consider any trade.

As for sale price 1250 shipped. Comes with original hardshell case/papers.

I haven't received the bass yet, no. Just a message that it'd be sent yesterday...but no tracking # as of yet as requested.

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/user/jabberbox#p/u/7/L8ACBSeTBJ0
At least he is a real person, lol. He messaged me here are Zachary Spier, and that's the name that appears on his youtube channel. Soft, I know, but something...

ATTENTION TB COMMUNITY:

Mr. Jabberbox has indeed shipped the bass, professionally packed no less, and has gone out of his way to scan the receipt and send it to me as proof of the bass being sent. He's been pretty on point throughout the transaction...we all get a bit busy from time to time and perhaps don't respond as quickly as others would like. ANYWAY, I'm a happy camper and would like you all to know JB is good dealings; his feedback will reflect as such.
