2010 Fender American Deluxe Precision with low miles on it. Maple neck, blonde body (beautiful grain), black pickguard. The neck has been pleked so the action can get super low and I've upgraded the bridge to a BadAss III. Plays great, sounds great.
No issues at all. There is a minor cosmetic issue in that there's some wear of the pickguard where the neck adjustment tool is inserted. Horrible design by Fender. There's no way to stick the tool in there and turn it without wearing on the pickguard. See pics for closeups of the entire bass.
PJ pickup configuration featuring N3 noiseless pickups. 3 band EQ. Passive/Active.
The neck was shimmed slightly due to the higher profile of the BadAss bridge and the super low action I was after. This work as well as the pleking work was professionally handled by the folks of Stew Mac (Dan Erlewine's team). They did a tremendous job! I've never played a P-bass with lower action potential. It's one of the finest playing Fender's I've ever touched.
Am selling because it's currently a backup bass for me - my 5 string Modulus is my main axe. I need the cash for Christmas gifts and family needs so I'm willing to part with this. Someone's going to get one of the nicest P basses out there.
Comes with a very heavy duty SKB flight case.
$1200 shipped in the CONUS.
Will consider trade down for a Standard Precision/Jazz, Squier Vintage Modified/Classic Vibe Jazz plus cash.
