FS/FT 2010 Human Base X.oc4 *Brand New Bass, Used Price*

Sign in to disble this ad
Human Base X.oc4 is up for sale. I first bought an oc4 in 2008, played it for a couple of years and then it developed neck joint issues. Called Human and they wanted it sent in, as it turns out they couldn't fix it and sent back a brand new 2010 model. In the mean time I bought more basses and decided that I need to sell this one.

This is the most musical bass I have ever played, the tone is impressively versatile and adjustable. The tone can be modified to fit any situation from aggressive and growly to smooth and thick. The preamp has to be heard to believe. The highs are crystal clear and pretty, not harsh, the bass is thick and punchy. The series / parallel switch adds a nice amount of aggressive midrange.

Specs:
-Ash Body
-3 piece maple neck
-24 fret
-Rosewood fingerboard
-6 bolt, deep tenon neck joint
-Delano Pups (German)
-Ser/Par Switch
-Glockenklang 3 band preamp (German)
-Graphite nut w/ 0 fret
-Dual action truss rod
-Active / passive on volume push/pull
-Satin Finish
-Plastic still on covers etc.
-Gig bag included
-Set up is perfect w/ new ken smith strings

Perfect as new condition 10/10

$975 OBRO includes shipping & Insurance in the ConUS. USPS money order preferred but Paypal is OK. International shipping is possible for extra fees.

Potential Trades: Jazz or P= Fender MIA, Lakland, Smith, Lull etc. All German Warwick's also considered. I will always look at high quality basses though.

I love to deal so swing away, the worst I can do is say no.

Just curious what kind of neck issues these basses could develop. That neck joint looks like it would survive a nuclear war!

I agree, I think what happened is that the pocket was originally cut a bit to big and it just loosened up. I don't think that it developed, I think it was that way since new but the screws finally loosened and the holes wobbled out a bit and it developed a classic tele rubber neck. I would think this is an isolated incident. The replacment (this one) is perfect.

Wish I had the cash or suitable trade bait!
I played one of these at a GTG a year ago-the man is not lying about the pickups & pre. These babies sound AMAZING!
