Opening this thread once again...
Valenti is gone, but new Olympic White Jazz has made certain that this fiver will get no love.
Plus, I have barely "mastered" the art of singing while playing a four stringer...don't want to tempt fate.
Brand new Fender Jazz V. Took ownership on 10/08/2010. New high mass bridge, and upgraded SKB TSA Approved hard-shell case.
Brought it home, peeled the plastic off the pickguard, re-strung with Slinkys, put black metal knurled knobs on all (3) pots, installed Schaller strap-locks (can't believe these are not stock any more

) and put it away. Buyer can have the plastic knobs and stock strap buttons as far as I am concerned.
The only thing I can see is faint swirl marks which is pretty much the norm in Fender black finishes. One coat of Guitar Polish does away with those.
Would love to do a local sale or trade rather than ship, but will entertain shipping eventually.
Price on the wall at the Guitar Shop was $1399.99. Same as Musician's Friend with a FREE Fender Hoodie. (sorry, No Hoodie

)
$995.00 CASH - LOCAL SALE (Within reasonable driving distance)
$1095.00 USPS MONEY ORDER / SHIPPED (FEDEX GROUND) CONUS (Save $400.00...well, $399.99)
