This is a great base with a fantastic vintage 60's fender feel and tone.

jazz bass made in USA! Very similiar to the USA Laklands I've had but with a truer to form dimensions to 62 jazz bass.

These are amazing basses! If you're looking for a '60s spec jazz you won't find a nicer one. These are true NYC Spectors! The Aguilar pups and preamp are as good as it gets.

Thanks hillside. The more I play this bass the more I like it. However I find I really dig the passive tone more. I'm not into the new modern tone. This bass is very comparable in quality and feel to the lakland jo4 I had and Sadowsky RV4. But the Aguilar j60 pickups are my favorite to date. This bass feels a little more true to a 62 (I actually played a gig recently with a borrowed 62) than either the Lakland or sadowsky. Really nails this vibe. I have some back issues so looking for something similar but lighter (8 lbs or so). This one comes in a tick over 9.5lbs.

Trades for a light vintage spec jazz are of hightest interest plus minus cash.

Some great trade offers but nothing panned out yet. Ideal trades would be a Lakland USA, fender cs, sadowsky with vintage spec. Or something similar. Even interested in less expensive jazz basses plus cash.
