FS/FT-2011 G&L L2000 Cherryburst, k-wiring,KILLER!

I love everything about this bass! I'm not sure how a bass in any price range could be built any better. It plays like butter, capable of very low action. The grain and wood binding are sweet also. The K-wiring is an added bonus, which allows the bass single coil options. It has the tone for sure, you can read up on the MFD pickups. The notes sing anywhere on the fretboard. But, I have learned that I really like alnico pickups. I also think I'm going to go back to a straight up P-bass or possibly a jazz. The bass is in showroom condition.

It is only about 5 weeks old. I bought it from Rocket music here on TB.

8.9 pounds

Comes with the updated case which is great.

Here is the original thread from Rocket music:

New Arrival 2/1/2011 - G&L L2K Cherry Burst w/ K-Wiring

Sales price is $900 shipped. As far as trades, I think I really would like a 08, 09, or 2010 Fender P with maple neck and black or white body. I dont care about a few skuffs, but I prefer lower action and no buzzing.

Thanks,
Matt

it is not number 8. it is the standard width, which i think is 1.75 inches. imo, it is actually faster than some of the thinner g&l necks. The shallowness really helps. i went from a lakland dj to this with no prob. i actually play this better because i have more room near the headstock.

I played this exact one when it came into Rocket and it almost convinced me to get something other than a Jazz (I ended up with a G&L JB). Beautiful bass, great player, and great price for a basically brand new bass. Someone buy this!!
