This is a virtually mint condition Yamaha BB-425 5 string bass. It plays and sounds great with no issues of any kind.
It's very loud for a passive instrument. Yamaha redesigned the pickups for this new series and you can really hear the difference. It has a big authoritative voice with lots of punch and depth to it's tone. Great for both finger style and pick playing!
This model was originally targeted for the non-US market but has recently started to become available here in the States. It's functionally the exact same bass and the Yamaha BB-425X but without the chrome pickguard.
