FS/FT 3 Basses: G&L, Schecter, Peavey
I have 3 basses available. All are four stringers. I have really bad GAS for a Lakland 55-01 so I'm putting all 3 of these on the block. ****ALL BASSES SOLD***
The G&L is an L2K Trib in 3TS with a maple neck and Hipshot DTuner. Its in excellent shape, everything works fine. weighs 9.8 lbs. Will ship in a G&L gigbag and will be securely packed.
$325 shipped east of the Mississippi, $350 way out west. ***SOLD $325 **** Paypal Received!!!
I realized I dont have any individual shots of the L2K so this "family photo" is all I have for now. And the pic makes the finish look like a tobacco burst but its definitely a 3 tone-the red is definitely there,
**SOLD LOCALLY for $300*** Next up is a Schecter Model T import. I got this about 3 years ago. Butterscotch w/rosewood fret board. This is the one with Seymour Duncan pickups. Very nearly mint. The ONLY blemish is below the finish just above the E side of the bridge. There is an oval shaped impression thats maybe 1/4" wide and 5/8" long. It looks like something heavy was pressed hard onto the body before it was painted. Its virtually impossible to see and it wont photograph but I know its there and I believe in full disclosure. Weight on this one is 9.3 lbs
Same deal as the G&L- $325 shipped east of the Mississippi, $350 west. Will ship in a generic padded gig bag.
The factory sticker is no longer on the pickguard
***SEE ABOVE-MODEL T SOLD LOCALLY***
***SOLD $250 and shipping to Texas****
Last is a Peavey T-20. From the front it looks excellent, the blemishes are on the back. The back of the neck has some discolorations and some dings. Mostly on the treble side of the neck and all between the 2nd and 5th frets. The back of the body shows the typical Peavey butcher block construction. The grain of the various pieces of wood match up well on the front, poorly on the back. Also, a lot of the clearcoat is missing from the back but there are no gouges, dings, etc. Weighs 9.5 lbs,
Looking for $260 east of the Mississippi, $285 west. This one will ship in the OHSC. Like most Peavey cases from this era, there is no lining, but there are pieces of foam and other padding to protect the bass.
As far as trades, like I said, my goal is a Lakland 55-01. If somebody wants 2 of mine for a Lakland, we can do that.
Otherwise, a Schecter Diamond P 5er (in white preferably), or a Fender J 5 or let me know what else you have.
I'll be posting some pics later tonight and I'll also get weights and neck measurements later. Have to go to rehearsal right now.
***ALL 3 BASSES SOLD!!!!****
PM sent on the Schecter.
Getting quite a response on the Model T!!
PM send on the G&L
All PMs replied
No love for the T20???
Looks like the Schecter and G&L will have new homes soon.
Any takers for the vintage Peavey???
And the Model T is gone- sold locally so its staying in CT.
I have 2 people interested in the L2K but the Peavey is standing alone in the corner. Doesnt anybody want to dance with her?
Payment received on the L2K- on its way to the heartland tomorrow!!
Only the T20 left...C'mon guys I have a chance to nail a dream bass but I need the T20 moved!! :help:
One bass left. Make me a reasonable offer.
OR my other 2 sales netted me over $600. I could do that $600 plus the T20 for a nice 55-02 maybe??
Hit me up with some ideas!!
Happy to report all 3 basses have sold!!! The last one (T20) will be leaving for Texas tomorrow!
Unfortunately the 55-01 I really wanted sold almost a week ago but the good news is, I have a gear fund for the first time in a long time.
If anybody has a good 5 string they want to move for somewhere between $500-800, let me know! Preferably something active with a more modern sound.
Special preference to Lakland 55-01's with Nordstrand Dual Coils. This is also posted in the WTB section but it cant hurt to list it here as well..
I already have a G&L L2500 so I dont need another one of those. Otherwise, let me know!
Mission accomplished!!!!::hyper:- all 3 basses sold and a new-to-me Lakland 55-01 is in the stand next to me, waiting for Sunday so I can really test it out.
Thanks to the Tber's who bought my basses and to the TBer who sold me the Lakland. I hope everybody ends up as happy as I am with what they bought.:bassist:
Congrats! I love the L2K...sweet playing bass.
Thanks for the opportunity to get one step closer to rounding up all three of the Peavey "T"-series basses! I'm LOVIN' the T-20 you sold me! It's punchier than any P bass I've tried so far, and looks and feels fantastic in my hands. I'm glad you scored the Lakland you've been wanting. I'm happy I could help, and score a bass I've been wanting at that same time!
