FS/FT 3 Vintage basses....Gibson & Fender

1st up for your consideration is a very nice Gibson Ripper. The bass has been professionally refretted. It has Seymour Duncan Ripper pickups installed and the working originals will also be included. It also has a Hipshot bridge which is an exact fit for the bass. The original bridge and bridge cover will also be included. The pickguard is a replacement since the original one had a big chunk taken out of it by the output jack. Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case. $900 SOLD, PENDING PAYMENT.

Next up is a nice 1972 Fender Precision Bass with "B" width neck. It's been refinished in Lake Placid Blue, has a Lollar vintage P bass pickup, badass II bass bridge, and the Pots have been replaced. The neck date is late 71 but the serial 33XXXX dates it to 72. The body has a plug where a J pickup used to be near the bridge. This one has the 1 5/8" "B" neck nut width. The frets are in good shape and the truss rod works well. Has nice low action. Decided to keep her.

Last up is a very nice 1976 Fender Precision bass. I have the original black pickguard which will be included. The volume pot has been replaced, but the tone pot is original. The serial number is on the neckplate which means that this is an early 76 before they started putting the serials on the headstock. Everything else on the bass is original. The frets are in great shape. Comes with a non-fender hardshell case. Keeping her also. She plays too well.

As far as trades, I'm looking for something different. Here's a short list;

Ken Smith basses (US ones)
Tobias basses
Early USA BC Rich basses (with the ton of switches)
Wal basses
Possibly Alembic 30", 32" or 34" scale Series basses,
Yamaha Attitude (with P and Woofer pickups and stereo wiring)
Rickenbacker 4001 or early 4003
Zon basses
Pedulla MVP
Modulus basses
70's Fender Jazz
Stingray 4 HH

This is a short list, might be interested in something else. I'm willing to do multiple basses for the right offer.

Primarily looking for 4 string basses at the moment, but might be tempted by the right 5 or 6 string.

Sure.

The chicken head knob is a pickup/coil selector.

Good decision mate. In the end I didn't go for the '72 'cause I've bought a '74 body on ebay and decided to reconstruct it, but these should sound amazingly great.
