FS/FT 55-02D Cherryburst/Maple

This is a 2001 (first yr for 55-02 IIRC) Cherryburst/Maple with the U.S. Bartolini electronics. Very good cond, previous owner put some buckle rash on back but none thru the paint. The bass plays great but just not getting used much. Has DR BB's on it. May trade for a unlined fretless 5er (acoustic or electric) in similar price range or I can kick in some $ to upgrade to a pricier bass. The back black cover still has the plastic on it, those aren't scratches, I baby all my gear. Any questions pls PM me. Comes with HSC. FS Price $800 plus shipping from 77396.

Couple more...

PM's replied. For now this bass still FS/FT.

Went ahead and used it this past Sat at the Motown, Funk/Soul sit in gig. Man, used the -02D with GBStreamliner 900+GB Neox 212T cab. I forgot what a great tone and feel this bass had offered me.

But still thinking "the right" offer for it will let me set her free. I think my P5 will do well in the above musical context so I'm pretty set. But for the funk tunes, the 55-02D will be missed at next few gigs. Back in her case she goes.

Wish you had the coin too chepo. You're even closer than the TBer in Clear Lake City who also wants to buy it. As I told him, I may offer a slight discount for a local sale. Just very slightly since I feel it's priced quite fair already. And no ship hassles for each of us. PLUS you being a "slapahoulic". You'd love this slap-tastic, funk machine. Orale for tacos!

And you know, us TX-TBers gota stick together, Bass is still up FS/FT Y'all; just sayin.

I feel so too. But heading outta town either late tonite or early tomorrow and won't be back til Sunday or Monday. But keep your offers coming, though I may not have time to check my PM's whille gone. And I do have a couple TBers inline to either trade/buy. Now, I hope they can wait til I return.

But if I lose those deals; I'll be bumping this ad around yet again. So I'll check back in a few days.

Happy Turduken Day all.

BUMP!!

This bass is just for sale now. I may be able to kick some ship fee to help send this one out. Let me know where you're located and if you have access to a ship acct you may use; def let me know. That should keep our ship prices down.

I've got a very good condition Body Glove case I will be shipping it in now to help lighten the load instead of the heavier generic HSC I had. But will still be packed extra protected in a good bass box.

Thanks for looking.
