FS/FT '70s FENDER Musicmaster Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale OR trade:
a fantastic little made in the US Fender Musicmaster bass from the mid to late 1970s. The neck and body are original but stripped of the original finish. Headstock face and label intact. The hardware is all new RI parts including a '51 RI p bass pickup, a pickguard from Jeanie's, and a new bone nut. There are a few non-original holes on the body by the bridge, but they are not very noticeable.
The bridge is a new more versatile RI with 4 saddles instead of 2 for better intonation. Through body strung with ghs flats. Will ship in a fender gig bag. Overall. a fantastic playing, light weight vintage bass for less than a Mustang Re-Issue!

$400 Shipped Conus or trade for/toward:
610 cab - SWR, epifani, markbass, etc.
Hofner Contemporary Beatle bass OR maybe a club bass - sunburst only.

First bass I ever laid hands on was a 1960's off-white Musicmaster. It was a monster. Wish I'd kept it. GLWS.

Thanks!
It really is a sweet little bass and with that p-bass pickup sounds like a monster! I considered putting in a Darkstar, but wanted to try the 51 P first... Let just say it was a keeper! A split or stack P would be better yet.

Good deal here folks. I've seen a few locally and they're all around $700. Not to mention these are killer instruments. Good luck!
