FS/FT 78 Fender PBass

Well I am going to pull the trigger on the sale of my 78 P-Bass.
A great sounding bass - the neck is straight, action low - a joy to play.

The stats:
This bass was purchased in the fall of 1979. I am the original owner. It has a maple neck, Seymour Duncan Hot stack j-bass PU in the bridge position and a Fender '62 replacement PBass PU. They was installed the fall of 2007.
A BadassII bridge was added in the early 80's.

A few nicks here and there but very clean for a 30yo bass.
I will include the original bridge.

SKB case included.
Sorry, no bridge or PU cover
I will only ship insured via UPS. I will charge only the exact shipping cost.
$1250.00 + shipping (Firm).
I accept Paypal ONLY.....
I would consider trading for an Eden/Genz-Benz head + cash
I will post more pics tonight but here is what I have currently:

Do you still have the original pups? Was the j area routed in 2007 or was that earlier? This would go great with my 78 P fretless, looks identical except I've got the rosewood board.

The width is 1 11/16 at the nut.

No I don't have the original Pup - it's output gradually trailed off to nearly nothing before I replaced it.

The J - pup route was done around 1982 by Philly area guitar tech Ron Rugiero.

Do you mind if I use your pics to compare to a local deal in a thread? (if you could offer your .02 cents i would be much obliged.)
