I recently got this jazz, but am just not bonding with it like I wanted to, so off it goes!
So...here we have an '83 Fender Jazz with both the original electronics, as well as a set of Bart 9J1 L/S pickups installed with CTS pots and an orange cap. This is a great sounding jazz, and if memory serves me correctly, this bass was made at the Fullerton factory! The neck is slimmer than my other jazz necks. Not as slim as the Geddy Lee necks, but similar, and the body is a bit slimmer and more contoured than my other fenders.
The bass comes with several pickguards and such to play with. The original one piece pickguard with strat knobs, a w/b/w jazz pg, as well as a really cool custom made carbon fiber pickguard made by the previous owner.
The bass also has a badass bridge installed, but will come with the original bridge as well.
The bass has a ton of wear, but still plays great. I personally like the wear, so it never bothered me much. I have attempted to take as many pictures of the wear as I can, but keep in mind that this is one PLAYED bass!
The bass will also come with the OHSC and the almost new set of DR Lo-Riders on it currently.
Asking $950 or trade for lightweight heads, or other basses. Lakland, Fender, Ernie Ball, etc etc etc. Maple boards only please.
