SOLD
This is a repost, here is what happened. I sold this bass to a really good TB'r, when he got it he wasn't happy with the string to string balance. I gave him a refund and got it back.
I took it to my luthier and he did some work on the bridge and now it is amazing. It is like a whole different bass. The whole bass sounds better and the balance is spot on. He flattened the bottom of the bridge and made it a bit thinner so it rides very evenly on the Piezo. It is so good I considered keeping it but I just picked up an upright and I have too many basses, according to my wife.
This is the first bass I ever bought, it is in mint condition. This one is a bit different than most of the AB-20's you might see in that it has a mahogany neck.
This bass sounds great, it gives a clean, clear acoustic sound. The preamp gives great adjust-ability for all situations. It also has exceptional string - string balance now. Washburn built these from 1981-1991 and they sold new for $999.
