This is hands down the most comfortable bass I have laid my fingers on. With that being said, I am selling this only because I am overhauling my intire setup and the new rig calls for a jazz bass.

The bass has an ash body, birdseye maple neck and a brazilian rosewood fretboard. The bass has some definate mojo but no wear that effects play. The bass had a refret about 2 years ago. It was well done, frets have no wear. Everything is all original except the pickguard but I have the original clear pickguard to. The bass comes with the original Musicman case.

Asking price is $1500, or ill take any of the following in trades:

Mesa Boogie Bass 400
Bergantino NV215
Bergantino NV610
Vintage Ampeg 810
Vintage Ampeg 215
Ampeg V-4 4x12 cab
Fender 08 American Standard Jazz
Lakland JO4
Lakland Decade
Lakland PJ

I played one of these when new and recorded a couple tracks for an album with it. It's the real deal. One of the nicest basses I've ever played and it has the right sound too. I wish I could afford this one myself, but I've got a couple good basses now that I won't part with and serve me well. But if you want a real player's bass, this is one of the best there is.

Two questions...what pickups are those and what is the weight of the bass?

Thanks!

Pickups are original musicman pickups and the bass weighs in at 9 lbs.
