FS/FT '98 Warwick Corvette Fretless - Wenge neck!(new pics)

Get your hands on a nice fretless, shoot me some trades...

Just got this bass on trade from JoshB. I would prefer a 5 or 6 string fretless so I will put this back up.

It's a '98 model with a 3 piece wenge neck, but the Adjust-a-nut II rather than the brass adjust-a-nut. No big deal, but thought I should put that out there. The neck is NOT your typical baseball bat neck that Warwick seems to have become famous for in the last decade or so. The neck feels very similar to my jazz neck. Not too bad at all. Electronics are all stock, with the MEC pickups and a vol/blend/tone knob setup. It also has recessed straplocks and all silver hardware.

This bass is a blast to play and has had nothing done to it since I got it, other than to wax the body and give it a good polish.

The bass will come with the Warwick Rockbag, straplocks, can of warwick wax, and a leather Italia strap.

Asking $750 or trade for another bass. Thanks.

Why do these great opportunities always arise when I am on a budget?!

'Wicks with Wenge neck are the bomb.

Someone is gonna love this.

No doubt- I can't stop looking at this one. Plus I just(gladly)paid $900 for a similar FNA- & I'd do it again.

bump

Bump. I played this at a gig recently and it sings. It has flats on it and still has such a nice singing tone to it. Sweet neck!!! Trades or cash welcome, I am interested in 5 or 6 string lined fretless, jazz style 5 string fretted or cash.

added new pics

Had to ad some pics, the ones from the last post were gone. While taking pics outside I really loved the way this bass looks. It feels suer sweet too. If only it was a 5 string.

damn

if only it had lines. I'm way to inexperienced to play an unlined fretless.
