Ok, I really hesitate to put this back on the market, but up for sale or trade is a gorgeous and rare Atelier Z M265 -- an absolute tone monster!
Atelier Z basses are hand made in Japan and the main luthier Mas Hino, later left Atelier to go work for Sadowsky. This bass has 60-style string spacing and can downright nail the Marcus Miller tone. The slap tone is also to die for as far as jazz basses go. View some reviews on the Atelier Z and you'll see that it's all about tone, tone tone! Fortunately with this bass you also get it in the looks department as well.
Tobacco burst with beautiful grain and a transparent pick guard, ash body, maple neck, block inlays, push/pull active/passive with bass/treble boost/cut. Comes with original Atelier metal plate (similar to what marcus uses) and two black knobs. Weighs 11.4lb and serial #036097 -- hand made about 12 years ago. Weight is very manageable with a good strap -- I just logged 10 hours of straight gig time last weekend, and helps add to sustain and tone. Mayones gig bag. Does not come with strap.
