The bass is in great condition, but has a little bit of mojo from the previous owner. Nothing that can be seen from more than 2+ feet away.
All the electronics are in working order.
This one is a Gibson model, after Tobias left the factory.
It has a single quad coil pickup, with two three way switches to adjust what frequency is being boosted or cut. With these switches there are really so many tonal opportunities to be had, which is why I love the bass. I can get a very "chunky" finger style tone out of it, or a sharper more aggressive tone, all the way to a funky tone just by flipping the switches. The sunburst red is also beautiful in person and wows everyone I show it to.
CON US only, will ship with a gig bag.
For trades I'm looking for fivers. Shoot me whatever you got!
EDIT: Now looking for lakland 55-02 or 44-02!
Selling price: $800 $750 Now $700
I can now do $800 with a hardshell case, shipped, straight to your door. The case does have a ton of stickers, but is functionally sound.
If someone wants to do a two for one, I also have a Warwick Rockbass.
Please PM me if you have any questions!
Thanks!

Each one is for two coils, either the front or the back.
Two stacked treble on top of bass
One vol
One pickup sweeper (thing that changes which pickups are loudest)
Two 3 way mid selector switches. They can change to be anything from a thumpin fingerstyle to a burpy jazz bass and everything in between.
The mid selector switches boost or cut certain mid frequencies.

I don't remember the equation for it) different possibilities. The only thing I don't like about the bass is that I am now graduating to a fiver, so I need funds for that.

| | | Dual-action truss rod: A dual action truss rod can be adjusted for both upbow and backbow. The original design truss rod does not compensate for a lack of relief or backbow because in most cases guitars do not suffer from a lack of relief. It is important to note that dual action truss rods adjust the opposite way to a standard truss rod to compensate for too much neck relief.
as in carvin, warmoth, sadowsky, pedulla, ken smith, some USA fenders to name a few. tobias growlers were eventually made with one too, but im almost positive yours is prior to that if it has 2 truss rods. Quote:

I honestly have no idea. I've actually only taken it to get a set up, never have done it myself.
