for the mouseover and weight monkies, asking price is $2K shipped - not heavy
i closed the old thread and opened the new one because folks think the pictures should be near the top...ok, cool, that's what you want, here it is...moving again and need cash, here are the specs:
5 string, 18mm string spacing
crotch walnut top
ash body
ebony laminate between top and back
graphite neck (looks a lot like a modulus neck)
stabilized acrylicized birdseye maple fingerboard
hipshot hardware - A style bridge, ultralite tuners
delano MM pickup
BEE preamp - vol, bass, treble and mid controls
seperate battery compartment
schaller straplocks
will ship in a gig bag
in mint condition...no wear anywhere at all
again, for the weight monkies - it isn't heavy...9 pounds or so? i understand a quarter ounce probably makes a difference in perfection and a lifetime of agony in a wheelchair, but, alas, no scale in the hotel room i'm living in at the moment...
i gotta say, this bass rocks and to get rid of it kills me, almost as bad as the motorcycle i may have to sell, too...
i'm asking $2000 shipped...
trade interests are lakland dj 4 strings (black, rosewood or the natural adam clayton variant), yamaha attitude limited II's, spectors (euro 4 or 5 strings or usa bolt necks), perhaps the right warwick streamer (jazzman, LX or $$ - or, hey, if you wanna give up your SSII or SSI, hit me!) or something similar, but since i need cash, and at least $1K, your trade should be worth about $1K + $1K cash on your end.

| | | | does the graphite neck have a truss rod?
I also read about problem with an early bee graphite neck. How is the neck on this?
with the maple / swamp / graphite combo this must be killer for slap. But how does the low e and b strings sound. It is very bright or can you you get a nice low end on this bass.
thanks
and welcome back |
