Up for grabs is a brand new, not even a day old Benavente 6 string. I went out on a wim and tried a 6 string, and realize that it is too much bass for my little hands. It plays like a dream, super low action, awesome tone, all around a great bass, but my hands are just too small for it's awesomeness.
It has a Hollywood/Coccobollo top, with Coccobollo pickup covers and knobs! Hipshot bridge and tuners! Neck is a 9 piece Wenge, Bubinga, and Flame Maple Combination! Amazingly smooth by the way! Fingerboard is Coccobollo with Flame Maple veneers! Headstock is Hollywood, Bubinga, Wenge, and Flame Maple. Body is Quartersawn African Mahagony! 3 band eq, Great tone, vary versatile. and nice warm punchy slap tone! If it was a 4 string or maybe a 5 string, it wouldn't be a question. I would keep it in a heartbeat! It is worth over 5k.
I am only asking for $4000

IIRC the scale is 34", 19mm spacing and is pretty close to my SCD6'er weight wise, so I'm guess in the 10.75-11.25lbs range. It balances very well. |

They sound great whatever they are. Real warm, punchy and clear. Reminds me of dual coil tone |
