FS/FT: Best 5 string bass for Metal - IMO

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all, ok so in all seriousness, here is one hell of a nice bass for not a lot of coin. I just took this bass in on trade and freshenned it up a bit.

This is a newer model Warwick 5 string Corvette Rock bass. It has all the bells and wistles that the German made Corvettes have without the price tag.

This model is passive although there is pleanty of room for an onboard pre-amp.

Controls are V/B/T/T.

Notice the two peice bridge, "adjust-a-nut" and genuin "W" tuners. Nut width is 1 3/4" String spacing is 16mm at the bridge. It also comes with the original Warwick strap locks.

Weight is 9 pounds on the bathroom scale.

I have gone completely through this bass checking wire connections, grounding, etc. I have also done a complete pro-style setup including new Circle K strings.

You will not be disapointed. This bass truly ROCKS~!!

Here is a pic:

I am asking $300 Shipped to CON US (rock bottom price) PM for internation shipping quote.

Trade bait:
4 or 5 string bodies/projects. Hit me up, lets make a deal.

Not sure, you might be able to find out using the serial number on the back of the headstock.

BTW, the tuners say "W" germany on them, so I'm guessing all of the hardware is german made and the bass was assembled in Korea or China.

If I played more Rock/Metal I'd consider keeping it, but I have way to many basses and to much debt.

So, I hope this goes to someone who appreciates it.

Peace.
