FS/FT Bunker PBC Astral 4 Carved Top Bass

Entertaining interesting trades for a near mint condition PBC Bass made by Dave Bunker.

New Flatwound Strings, Sounds very deep and woody. Premium Flame Maple Top and matching back ($225.00 upgrade today). Two EMG active Soapbar Pickups and gig bag.

The only reason this is not listed as MINT is because there is some minor bit of tarnish on the brass bridge pieces.

I will sell outright for an amount somewhere in the neighborhood of $700.00.

This guitar was made in 1995, today it would cost nearly 3000.00 to have Dave Bunker make one like it. The top is solid maple nearly 1/2" thick. Has that 5 piece tension free neck, brass nut and sustain for days!

I apologize for the poor photos---PM or email me and I can send some new ones. In the meantime you can check out the specs at http://www.bunker-guitars.com/atb_500.html

My model is identical but with four instead of five strings.

Thanks for the intrest fendersax!

Looking for four string trades, amps, cabs ect.

Particularly fond of the old school stuff, Ampeg--Fender and so on.

The PBC is a great bass, I just finished a recording session using it and the engineer added just a slight bit of compression and you'd swear I played the track on an upright!

I bought this to use for acoustic shows and found it to be just too "special" to take out in public--it truley is a work of fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. There is not a scratch, nick or ding anywhere on this instrument!

Bunker PBC Bass Celebrity Photo!

I found this photo of me backing C & W artist Tracy Byrd using the Bunker---guess I'll have to charge MORE for it now!
