FS/FT: Carvin Icon 5

Up for trade is a almost new Carvin Icon 5 string. It's in very good shape. Can't find a ding or scratch anywhere.

Maple neck w Birdseye Fretboard
Abalone Dot inlays

J99a Pickups
Matching Satin paint on neck
Asymmetrical wide neck

Bass plays, looks and sound killer. Carvins are some of the best playing basses I've owned.

Mainly looking for a 4 string.Would consider a 5 string. But only looking for a bass trade. I'm happy with my current amp setup.

Need a solid 4 string. Need s to be less than 9.5 lbs. not too chunky a neck and not interested in any radical designs. Also not into purple basses...

I really would like a 4 string for my current project and don't have one that fits the bill. A PJ would be Ideal but I'm pretty open.

I'm curious as to why this bass can't handle what you need a 4 banger for?

It can. Problem is I tend to go a little too low on a 5ver and the music doesn't need that. I know there is this thing called discipline but that is easily overpowered by gas.

I have been itching for a solid 4 string as I play a 4 string very differently that a 5. Not sure why. I busted out my old Spector and remembered how different a four string felt.
