Up for sale is my like new condition Carvin SB5000. I purchased this bass new less than 6 months ago, this bass has not been gigged and was kept in my smoke free home. There is not a scratch or nic anywhere on this bass, it still looks like it did the day I received it from Carvin.
While I may regret selling this bass I have decided that I prefer alder bodied 4 string basses, so I plan to purchase a SB4000 if this bass sells.
This SB5000 has amazing construction with some of the best fretwork I have ever seen. I have owned several other higher end 5 strings that all were over double the price of this SB, and the Carvin is right up there in the same class. The SB5000 neck is super fast, smooth, and comfortable.
