Nice bass! What's the biggest difference between that one and Fender?

Alder Body with maple neck and birdseye maple fingerboard.

Surf Green

Single Coil with active preamp (V/V/T/stacked BT)

Avalone dots

i think that's about it. Ask me any questions.

I just used this bass last night and it kills..

I am mostly interested in fender P5

This is an amazing bass. I've owned really nice boutiques, and I really mean no exaggeration that this is right up there. Fender has a vibe, but in terms of pound for pound performance, the Carvin really wins. I used to be a Carvin hater, too!

This is Sooooooo true. These basses kill. Period. I was a Carvin hater to the Extreme. Everything had to be Sadowskys, and Fbasses. But these 5000's just smash! I love mine. I'm about to go up for praise and worship in 20 minutes and I can't wait

This might be a long shot, but any interest in a Squier Pro Tone V Precision bass + cash? If you are not familiar with them, search on this forum and you'll find that they are very highly rated Fender fivers with 2 humbuckers. Wide string spacing like a P-bass.
