I got this in trade and I have had some fun with it. Like every other time I try to incorporate a fretless into my playing, I just never play them enough to feel comfortable. So this is sitting. I was going to put a fretted neck on the body but I have other things I need to spend money on so this needs a new home.
Here are the Deets:
Body: lightweight Alder (very resonant)
Finish: Sherwood Green with pearloid pickguard (WD brand)
Neck: 1.5 at the nut and a very fast jazz neck shape, I like the shape , kind of reminds me of the Modulus VJ's that I have had.
Fingerboard: Unlined RW that has been impregnated with a material that hardens the wood. Very pretty in color, only scratches on the fingerboard, nothing bad at all
Pups: Fralin jazz and they sound absolutely killer
bridge: Badass II
Tuners: Hipshot UL
Full Disclosure: Lots of finish checking on the sides near the neck pocket and a few little dings here and there. If you like the relic thing then it's cool but if you want a durable finish, this is not it. Personally, if I keep it, I'm going to have it relic'd a little more and throw a fretted neck on it. It sounds great.
Trades: I'd take a Fender Hwy 1 jazz, a MIJ Fender '62 body (jazz or precision), REDDI, Genz nx112 or $525.00 plus shipping OBO. I think it's worth more than that if I part it out.
**I will sell just the neck if anyone is interested**
