You know the bass- classic styling, true active & passive pickups, series/parallel.
It is an awesome bass and still my main player- something else has just recently caught my eye... gasGASgasGASgas... you know how it goes. PM me with any questions.
Full disclosure- this bass has a crack in the finish on the bottom edge- no structural damage, but a crack none the less, some buckle rash (nothing through the finish, just surface scratches), and a very tiny dent in the neck. Essentially it’s a players bass and has been gigged, but has also been taken care of and not abused. One other easily fixable issue is the neck pickup on/off switch is broken off & active passive switch needs to be replaced. This is a really cheap (about $10) fix if you know how to solder- but it never bothered me because I always played the bass in passive with both pickups on run in series… another bass palyer I know kept his in active mode both pickups on in parralell, he went so far as to remove the silders! This bass is VERY versatile with a lot of useable sounds in it... Anyway the switches can be found here
Fender Parts Fender part # 0017079000 $4.95.
I’m going to price this at $600.00 but I'll consider trades for 5's or fretless or a violin bass or a kala sub or something interesting.
