Up for sale or trade is a very recent 5 string fretless (#213) beautifully built by Tom Clement in sunny Florida. Bass is a fretless monster. So much mwah more than any other fretless i've had. Neck is a pretty flat D shape and is super smooth. Bass has super low action and is a joy to play. Sometimes I wake up and it's making breakfast for me too!
Not my first and certainly not my last Clement.
Bass is...
swamp ash body
1 piece maple neck
bloodwood fingerboard (with side dots)
16" fretboard radius
hipshot ultralight tuners
hipshot adjustable bridge ( can make spacing wide or narrow)
single bart MM pickup in the sweet spot
Seymour Duncan 3 band pre w/push pull slap switch.
18mm string spacing at bridge
Nut width ~49mm
35" scale neck
Currently strung with DR Flats
Bass is all original except the pre amp and the hipshot strap buttons.
It weighs in Under 8 lbs and is mwah crazy! Bass is in very good shape with the exception of a dent about the size of a ball point pen and a dent about half the size of a tic tac shown below.
Don't have a gig bag but will put an illegal amount of bubble wrap on this bass. If it's a deal breaker though I can buy a gig bag a GC and ship in that.
Cash price is $1000.
Reduced to $900 OBO shipped Conus. Paypal is great. Local deal is even better.
Trades... Mainly looking for a 4 string.
