Putting out a feeler on my Clement Custom....It's a Beautiful bass by a Talented Artist. Don't really need to sell this but it's not seeing the use it deserves, so for the right cash or trade it's yours... Trades I am interested in are Bordwell's or other Clement's. A DB 410 or DB 212 in Chocolate Thunder...or a Markbass Super Synth (with cash on my end or yours depending...)

Bass is in excellent shape and plays cherry...

The details: .
Singlecut Fretted 4 string
Solid Paduak body
Rock maple neck
Macassar ebony fretboard
Hipshot hardware.
Fender SCN pickups individually shielded and grounded.

Looking for $900 shipped or B/O....

I'm not really a single-cut guy but thats one of my favorites form Tom's singlecut gallery. Nice seeing one with a dark colored body.

Bump for a really nice Clement!

V-V-T? Also, is that a John? Too lazy to go find it on Tom's site.

That poorly kept driveway looks very familiar....

Jon. If I remember right it's Vol/blend/tone.

Bump for an amazing bass. Perfectly balanced and plays like a dream. Good luck with the sale.

I understand what you mean. I've had 10lb or heavier basses that were a joy to play because they balanced so well. But I'm looking for something that's really light to carry in transit. Thanks and good luck with the sale!

Neither can I. The insanely low price was what attracted me in the first place. Bump!

Nut width?
Great looking bass. Never played a Clement, could you comment on the neck shape/profile/tapper/feel?

Sorry EduardoK.....been away from T-bass for a bit. This neck is slim and extremely smooth....and it has been said that this thing plays like butter. Tom Clement is a great Luthier and makes really nice instruments. I know of nothing close to this craftsmanship in this price range. I will get a nut width and get back to you!....

!!! Updated Trade interests....

I own #156, another of Tom's singlecut 4's, and the neck is a joy to play. It's somewhat asymmetrical being more "C" shaped in the bass end and flattening out in the upper registries. As alluded to earlier by the OP, quite slim.

The instrument has gotten nothing but praise and compliments from local bassists who've had the chance to play her.

If I had $900 to spare, this would be mine!

Bump for Clement awesomeness.

The nut width would be 1.5" and it is a Ryan. Good luck with the sale..t
