FS/FT Clevinger Solid Acoustic Concerto 6 string EUB

Sign in to disble this ad
Full 41.5' scale, with full string string spacing 6 string electric upright. This is the most deluxe model Clevinger makes, with both the pizzicato and arco pickup, vol for each, and tone knob. Having owned almost all EUB makes, I can tell you nothing gets the sound of Clevingers double pickup system with the floating spruce top. The low B is body shaking and the high C sounds like a cello.

Bass
gig bag
flight case
stand

CLEVINGER BASS | Custom Made Electric Upright Bass | Clevinger Solid Acoustic Concerto

This bass would be about $5500 with flight case and stand if ordered new from Clevinger. Bass is in excellent condition, no where on fingerboard (the slab of ebony is probably worth a grand alone). Will entertain possible trades for bass guitars or 4 string EUBs.

Please email for full size pics.

$2950 shipped, paypal accepted

Bump for dream of a bass. Martin Clevinger is the originator of the modern EUB. You don't see these around because A) He doesn't retail them, and B) there's nowhere else to go once you own one. The best.
How wide is the fingerboard @nut and octave?

I'll have to measure and get back to you after rehearsal that it about to start. If you take a look at the back shots you can see how the actual neck is the standard size with the fingerboard over the edges, which makes it extremely comfortable to play! Now time to rock out, check out our site, just recorded some live demo tracks last weekend.

Bump for a great EUB. I own the 4 string version. Excellent feel and sound. Great versatility with the double pickups. I love the look of these instruments as well. Clevinger is definitely an under-appreciated EUB luthier.

These are measures with a tape which follows the arch of the fingerboard, meaning the distance should be a little greater than if measured with a stick ruler.

2 1/2 inch at nut
2 3/4 at roughly the Ab on E string
3 1/2 at the heel
