Hey guys!

Bought this one a couple of weeks ago, but I may be giving it up. GAS pains and there are a couple things I actually need more than another bass.

Original thread here: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/c...5-00-a-748953/

Original preamp has been replaced with an Audere 2-band with 3Z switch, original p/ups replaced with NIB FatStacks, replaced stock jack with a Neutrik jack, shielded the p/up cavaties (including soldering the pieces together to ensure continuity), put two coats of Howard's Feed-N-Wax on the rosewood 'board, checked set-up and intonation, and cleaned and polished the body. Of course, all the nicks and dings shown in Keith's ad are still there, but it's in better shape -- functionally anyway -- than when I bought it.

Comes with the same [chipboard-ish] case I got with it.

Asking price: $750 OBO shipped CONUS.

Trades: I really need a small gigbag-sized head with moderate power. Something like a Shuttle 6.0, F1, MB500/Fusion 500, LMIII, etc. Would also consider a small combo (MarkBass, GK, etc.). Lastly, I'm also looking for a lightweight, high-power power amp such as Crown XLS Drivecore, Carvin DCM, Peavey IMR, or QSC PLX2. Not really looking for basses, but I'll consider them. FIVERS ONLY and I'm NOT a Warwick fan at all!

I know there are a few gun guys here. I'd be down for some gun trades as well (flat top M4 upper in 5.56, popular carry / CCW handguns in 9mm, .40S&W and .45ACP. PM me on these, please).

As always, plus/minus cash as needed for the right trade.

Thanks and lemme know whatcha got!

Would you be interested in a trade for a trans black warwick streamer STD 4-string. This is the PRE-rockbass streamer std and was made in germany. It has some regular gig wear, nicks and dings and a spot worn through finish from playing. I've got plenty of pics if you'd be interested in trade. Thanks

Thanks for the offer, but I gotta pass. Seems that I forgot to add some text in my ad. I really only play five-strings now, at least for the past 20 years or so.

Thanks!

Appreciate it Keith.

Actually, it does light my fire, but the GAS pains are burning brighter! Only reason for sale is to gather $$ to buy something else. If this one and my NJ5 don't sell, I'm gonna gut it and re-load it with real Barts (or Big Splits) and a Glock preamp, then keep it a while.

Cool, just wanted to make sure and best of luck. I suffer from incurable gas the way you appear to.

Lol! Everything sells at market value. Market value = willing amount paid. These are really nice basses and well worth $500.

Gotta give the seller a bump and a thumbs up for being a straight shooter. We could use more of that theze daze.

And I agree, a helluva bass at $500

I sold this bass to Doug and I agree that this is still a very fair price for this bass. Bump for a good guy and a straight shooter. This really is a cool bass; just was not my sound. Criticizing a sellers sale price is against TB's rules and it is not cool.

Back on the market. Really need a small/light amp or a power amp.

Anybody got a Carvin HD1500, DCM1500 or DCM2000 or Crown XLS1500 / 200 Drivecore for trade?

How about an MB500 or Shuttle 6.0?

This is a cool bass and worth every penny it is on sale for. I never even knew it was a 35.5" scale, just felt like a bass to me.

GREAT bass!

These basses have everything you like about a Lakland 55-01, but with even more playing comfort.

I have one and adore it.
