FS/FT: Cort-Elrick Josh Paul 5 with upgrades

NOTE: PRETTY MUCH JUST FS NOW...but it never hurts to ask. Will certainly consider trades that net me at least $200+ cash.

Hey there!

I'm thinking about putting my green Cort/Elrick JP5 for sale. It's in pretty good condition, except for a couple of unsightly dings on the headstock. Also, a finish crack near the midrange knob, all of which were there when I bought it and have not changed or c. grown since I've owned it. Nothing that affects playability, functionality, or structural integrity.

I've updated the preamp to a 2-band Audere and have the necessary hardware from Audere to convert it to 3-band with switchable mids, which will be included. Also, have updated the pickups to Nordy FatStacks. Finally, I've shielded the cavaties with copper foil.

Trades considered: mostly micro amps and small-ish combos. Markbass, Genz, GK, EA, AI, Eden, SWR, etc. Please, no Ampeg, Peavey, or Fender. Also might consider a Demeter VTBP-201s preamp. Plus / minus cash, as appropriate on trades.

Well, I ONLY play finger-style and it works pretty good for me. I play it more than my Roscoes and Nordys! In fact, it's the one that stays propped up against my amp in the practice room when it's not at gigs!

I have a MTD 5 string Heir 2002 sunburst model. It is in excellent condition and still has plastic on the back control plate. Any interest?

Really, really need to trade this for a micro amp or small-ish combo. Surely somebody out there with an MB210 or MarkBass combo or a Shuttle or LMIII they're not using needs a great little backup bass. Or a main bass for that matter. Plays great, sounds great!

No longer interested too much in micro-amps, but I'd still consider a trade for a small combo like a MarkBass, GK MB210 / MB212, or Genz 6.0/12. Or perhaps a Neo 112 x 2 / 210 / 212 / 410 cabinet.

Off-topic, gun stuff -- especially AR15 or .308 assault rifles -- would work great too!

Oh, yeah...I'd certainly consider trades for a nice digital camera with decent glass. Think Nikon D60 or the equivalent.

Weighs about 9 pounds. Doubt it's much more than that, and most likely less. But I can't get any more accurate that +/- 1 pound. My scales at home SUCK.

Oh, and it's got a set of Dunlop Straplocks installed and I'll include the strap ends as well.

Let's move this one out. Going to eBay PDQ if it doesn't move here.

Trades for micro amps, Neo cabs, PA amps, a decent rackmount mixer (like a Mackie 1604), higher-end digital camera, or guns heartily considered. Only bass trades would be a J/MM , with Peavey USA Millennium or Lakie 55-02 tied for first place. But I'd think about Brute, Cort and TBCs too. Well, my Number One #1 choice would be a Red Holoflake Peavey G V, but that's prolly not gonna happen.....

Plus / minus cash on all trades, as required.
