FS/FT: Custom Darkstar P-Bass

This has been my main bass for a couple years now. It's been great to me. It's a frankenbass built by Simon Langley here on the forums. Nicknamed the Fatsound BIG BASS it's name fits perfectly. The Darkstar sounds amazing and this is your chance to give it a try without breaking the bank. There is some buckle rash and a chip in the headstock (check pictures).


The parts used:

-Darkstar pickup
-Custom tortoise pickguard made by Jeannie Pickguards
-SX alder sunburst P-Bass Body
-Mighty Mite J-style neck with rosewood fretboard refinished in vintage amber satin nitro lacquer from Stewart McDonald
-Gotoh 201C bridge and Schaller tuners


*It would cost you approximately $650 to $750 to assemble this bass from these parts. I am only asking SOLD or a similar value trade plus shipping. Let me know what you have. I'm interested in P's mainly, but I'm open to any offers.

His last TB sign-in was today. Perhaps you should get a mod involved. Man ... I hate to hear about things like this happening here on TB.

I really think contacting a TB moderator is the way to go. I have had support in the past over asking for a feedback from a seller (thanks again John!). That's minor compared to this issue. Anyways, let John Turner or another mod in on this situation!

Seems like this is his second bass that "never shipped" very sad.

Contact a private investigator,
they're not all expensive.

if u search locally. U can find a list of PI's who will give you an estimate,
i someone will do it cheaply, tell them that money is tight,

My parents are both PI's,
a lot if jobs are simple, cheapo, unglamorous jobs.

A decent PI will find his address,
his job address,
( even his bank acct balances if u pay more!)

I hope you keep us posted. Not to judge without having all the facts, but this kind of behavior ruins it for all of us. If we don't have trust and a sense of community, we may as well just hawk our gear on eBay. Good luck.

That's why feedback is so important. I have positive feedback, but have not received ANY feedback on my last four sales, even though I requested it. If you find this @$$hole, I say let's all beat the crap out of him!
