Thumbs up FS/FT EBMM 30th Anniversary Stingray w/ HSC

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!

I recently traded my Zon 4/1 for a Stingray. It's a beautiful bass and sounds great -- better than any other Stingray I've played in fact.

I traded before I knew what the 30th Anniversary model is all about. The string-through body and mahogany really add to the serious tone of this baby. Apparently Sterling Ball has called this the best Stingray they've made and only 700 or so were produced, so it's got the TLC that makes a boutique bass what it is. I'm looking for something with two (or more) pickups.

Price Drop, asking $1100 shipped.
Would also love a trade for a 2 pickup Zon, Curbow, Warwick etc. Hit me with ideas; I'm easy. Willing +/- cash for the right trade.

Pics of Stingray from trade thread here: I think that I am just bored - F/T 30th Ann. Musicman Stingray

More/new pics on request.

Bump!

Why are these basses moving around so much? Amazing!

This is IMO the bast Stingray EBMM has made. I own 1 (used to own 2!) and own or have owned at least 8 Stingrays. The string through is cool but the mahogany is the key IMO.

This is a $2k bass easily in a few years IMO!

Something's come up and now I need to move this. I will still entertain trade offers (which there have been tons of), but a sale would be great right now... no reasonable offer refused!

agreed, I have this bass and I absolutely love it, sounds deeper than a regular SR4 in my opinion. String through and a mahogany body on a stingray = yummy. Bump for a great bass.
