Lightbulb FS/FT: EBMM Bongo 5 HHp (Midwest local only)

Hello everyone. I am putting on the market my mint condition Ernie Ball Musicman Bongo 5 string. This model has two humbuckers and the piezo bridge option. The finish is cabernet pearl and it has a black pearliod pickguard. The condition is 9.9/10 (because nothing is perfect).

Why is it in perfect condition and why am I selling?

I custom ordered this bass from Theperfectbass and learned quickly that its sound simply isn't for me. Unfortunately for me, custom orders are non-refundable, my loss, your gain. As a result the bass was played for less than three hours and has sat in it's case untouched. The same set of strings are still on it and still sound perfectly fresh, and these are slinkies which die in an instant.

THEREFORE

I am looking for trades. What do I want? Anything of quality. 4, 5 or 6 strings is fine. 34" and 35" scale is fine. Any string spacing. I can also be enticed by high end amps and lightweight cabs such as aquilar and bergantino. There are a couple of things that score big points as of now. Here is a list in order of things that I'd like:

-Euro neck-thru spectors such as a 4LX
-G&L L-2000 (maple FB is a plus)
-Non-corvette Warwicks (SS I's and II's are a big plus)
-Rickenbackers
-US made Jazz basses (again, maple FB is a plus)
-US made Thunderbird

Price: $1650. Yes, I know it's high but this is to encourage trades. You'd pay $1800 right now to get the options this bass has, and that would include a 3-4 month wait. Make me an offer I can't refuse!

I have a lot of cash I can add if you have some really nice. Also, I wouldn't mind getting some cash in the trade so if your bass is valued lower expect to add some. Pedals are a good sub for cash, too.

My last stipulation is that the sale be a trade done in person. It's nothing personal against anyone or TB but I simply cannot bring myself to do a trade sight unseen. Yes, it is paranoid but for me it's necessary. I live in southeast Iowa and I'm willing to drive several hours to meet.

For serious offers, PM me and I can email you pictures. Thanks for looking!

Paul

Ended up getting a great cash deal on a Euro 4, so the bass is back up for sale/trade for anything listed minus Spectors.

Really looking for an L-2000 right now! Fender P or J is also high up as well as a nice Thunderbird.
