Very nice Stingray with beautiful birdseye maple neck. I think this is a 1992 model. Plays just great, and has some normal player wear, nothing significant or notable. Hard shell case is also in good condition, although one of the locks is a little fussy. When I got this in a trade recently, I was blown away by how good this looks, plays and sounds. Why list it? After experimenting with numerous active basses, I think I'd rather have a jazz-width neck. Will sell for $850, shipped to CONUS. As for trades, I would definitely be interested in a Sterling 4HS.

Any interest in an MIA P-bass? Its an American Standard in Olympic white and maple fretboard.

What finish is on the back side of the neck? Like newer models, or like olders- lacquered?

The back of the neck is very smooth and must have a thin lacquer. It feels very satiny (if there is such a word), not sticky at all. I think it is very comfortable to play.

Not sure, but I think the body is ash. I think that's usually the case with the trans finishes.
